ML Boatworks GSX480 Gas Sport Hydroplane- In need of drivers/ racers

Hi Everyone,

As some may have seen before Jim's went down (that was the main thread location), I just recently released my own gas sport hydroplane. It was released kind of late in the build season, so it has not taken off to much just yet. With that being said, it is now approaching the winter build season soon, and I need to get some of these kits into some of the hard core racers hands. The boat runs great, and with the right person rigging and running it, it will be competitive.

My problem is I need a mix of people from around the country who have the time, drive, and unfortunately the money to go race big races. I need guys/ ladies that can show this boat off and are willing to test until the setup is right and race. I am looking for people who have won big races, and go to big races often. I want this boat to get noticed. It's too good of a boat for the little interest it has shown. With that being said, I am willing to sell 5 of these kits below cost to 5 top racers. You don't have to post openly here, a PM will do. I would like to know how often you get to the bigger events, and if you have won any of those...It doesn't just have to be gas sport wins. I just need to know these are going to get shown off. You will need to either build, or have the kit built. I may be able to assist in that, but right now I am trying to finish up some customers builds, so my time is limited. I wish I could give these kits away to some of the guys I need to run them, but its a large investment and I am just one guy. You will not be disappointed in the hull, I will promise you that! Well, I rode up to the D12 ODMBA race yesterday, and got to see 2 heats of Anthony/ Josh/ Alex Black's just finished GSX480 gas sport. I got a video of each heat. The weather was windy and rough...The GSX480 didn't seem to care that much. Josh drove this hull both heats (Alex's 480 kit will be started soon). They just got the boat in the water for the first time just this week. This was maybe the 4th and 5th time it has been in the water. As you can see in both video's, he laps the field, but in one video gets behind a lapped boat, and has to make a sudden shift, and when he does the motor shut down, and on the other video, the throttle servo had something go bad and would not allow him to power back to full throttle. Needless to say, everyone was really impressed. It was racing a good mix of hulls. Enjoy, Mike

It is the orange and white hull. Also, the bottom of the hull has not even been skuffed yet.

Not sure of the final outcome, but Alex and Josh Black turned a lot of heads with the gas sport hydro's at the fall nats. From what I heard they were out front and lapping others most of the time! Unfortunately some bad luck took away a chance at an overall win. We will see if their luck changes at the winter nats. Thanks for making the hull look good out there guys!
