Our pond is located North of Montgomery Alabama in a little town called Wetumpka. This pond is privately owned and sits along side of Hwy 14. If you look on google maps, the pond is located in an area of Hwy 14 that is directly between Hwy 111 and Hwy 231. It is easy to find and can be seen from the highway. We have a 300 foot course set out and a retrieve boat. We typically run on Sunday afternoons. If you want to run with us at this site just contact me at [email protected] and we will be glad to arrange to meet you and help you in anyway we can.

I will post a picture of it when I can.

Thanks,

Is this the lake that Buddy Lowe built on his property?

Is this the lake that Buddy Lowe built on his property?
. Buddy 's pond is not finished and is only 20 miles north of me in Mobile,Al . When Buddy's pond is complete it will possibly become a new race site.
Sorry guys I haven't looked back at this thread for awhile. No this is our pond in Wetumpka Alabama. We are slightly south, east of central Alabama. Wetumpka is about 15 minutes north of Montgomery Alabama. The land owner is an ex-tunnel boater from the 80's. He loves to come by and pull his chair out and watch us run the track. We have a treeline on the North and West side so after 3:00pm our drivers area is completely shaded. The prevailing North wind is shielded from this site. To run here all you have to do is contact me and tell me when you want to come down and I will meet you there. One of our club members has to be present when running here but that hasn't been an issue as we run almost every weekend.

The coordinates are: 32.554365, -86.205982 / Elevation: 170 Feet above sea level.

We are in the process of registering our pond site (The Carter's Sod Farm Reservoir) as a NAMBA site. Regardless if you are a member of NAMBA or IMPBA or not a member of any organization, stop by and visit with us. We are typically there on Sunday afternoons around 3:00pm. Please let us know at least one day in advance if you are driving in from out of town so that we can make sure to meet you there.

A club member has to be on site for you to run your boat.

For test day info you can text 334-202-3446 or 334-531-2987 or 334-306-8165
