Hope everyone is getting ready for some great outboard racing! Those of y'all planning to arrive early for practice, the pond will be open starting Monday May 15. You will have to run the retrieve boat.

Port-A-Potties will be available starting Wednesday.

Friday night there will be racing under the lights starting around 8:00pm. Classes that will be offered are, Sport B Tunnel, B Tunnel, D Tunnel, and Open Tunnel. PM if you are going to participate in the night race, and let me know what class/classes you will be running. The Night Race is a completely separate race!! It will be a winner take all shootout! No points!!!

We will be having a catered pork chop dinner Saturday Night at the pond $14.00/person.

Jeni Johnson has designed a T-shirt for the race. If you are interested in ordering a shirt get with Jeni.

If you have any question pm me! Thanks

Questions, how many boats in a heat maximum, 6, 7 or 8? Are the top 6 in points in each class going to be grouped together in the last round? Better to discuss in advance as it seems to come up at the drivers meeting.

The pond is not big enough for a full size course so an eight boat heat is going to be a little crowded I would think.

The tri-oval does open things up a bit but turn one can get crowded. Looking at the classes and numbers there are a few with 8 boats which makes a split, two four boat heats. One or two drop out and you have 2 and 3 boat heats. So when do you combine? 6 or 7 in a heat? Just asking before we get there.

Mic

Mic, will be trying to keep the heats at 6-7 boats

Carl don't worry this pond is very raceable with dead boats on the water.

Jimmy Duncan, Will my boats set up with a fuel capacity for the standard oval course have enough fuel for a normal mill and race, or am I going to be short on fuel due to the oval course length. Thnx, Beasley

James, I have raced there before and will be at this race. You will be fine with your normal fuel capacity.

Starting a new job and cant be there- I HATE IT - but we gotta do what we gotta do to keep a roof over our heads.

Good luck guys and gals , just poor timing on my part, but it had to be.
