CMB Beta Drum

The drum valve on my new Beta 21 has frozen up (can move it, but not freely). I have run approximately (10) tanks of 50% Technology Fuel thru it, setting very rich. Boat is a 21 Seducer. Has this happened to anyone else and how do I fix it.

I understand some CMB engine model's using drum valve need honing or lapping to adjust for proper fit (drum and bronze bushing fit).

We only had the problem on the newer 67 drum housings. Tom, send drum and housing to me and I'll fix.

Stu, thanks for your offer to fix the drum valve. After I took the rest of the motor apart, found that the motor appeared to have ingested some grit. Thoroughly cleaned everything and the drum moves freely now. Do you have available replacement drum valve assemblies and if yes, what would be the cost?
