Hi Richard

Now days Id say depending on the builder anything from 40 to 44 inches pretty well covers most. twin 40 size to twin 101s. My first twin 46s tub was 42 then my twin 80 was 44. With current materials its much easier to build light.

Thanks John

One thing for certain John the boat in question is not light

You prepped the props for it MANY years ago

it has been on the shelf for perhaps 25 years

Thanks for your input

it may be my winter project

Richard my twin Rossi 80 boat was a composite hull that Ron Logghe built for me, it was my design but his construction process that was super rigid and amazingly light. 14-1/2 lbs. wet. My current SST Bullard twin weighs is just as rigid but weighs 16-1/2 lbs. dry CMB 91VACs which are considerably heavier than the Rossi 80s

Thanks John

Plans are 38” ,if it’s anything like the gas version I’d be adding to the length, longer boat saves torque effect on transom.
