Hi,

Looking to setup my first boat with an oiler. I've always used grease on the cables and figured I try one. For those of you that use them, which oiler do you use? I know of a few different ones out there but wanted to get a few opinions first.

Thanks

As Robert said, solder a piece of brass tubing to your shaft log, for added sealing put some JB Weld around the bottom.

1/16th hole through the shaft log.

Mercury high performance gear lube as lubricant

Daniel Place makes some nice oilers, with a few different options. Great service and a stand up guy.

About to finish the oiler on my mod tunnel boat.just have to tap the lower and add the fittings and hose.

Running a Woods ouler on one of my boats -works great.

New boat I am finishing will need to be a remote due to the space under the cowl. One of these would be sweet in place of the standard fair pill bottle I bought for it

looks great on that outboard. Nice job
