I don't know how to maintain the tank in the eagle 21 rigger.

If the tank is made of stainless steel, Just empty it. If the tank is made of tin, empty it and rinse with alcohl and give a small blast of wd 40. You should always empty the tank no matter the material, even plastic tanks. hope this helps. Bob Tuttle

clean tank well and then stick some self adhesive rubber foam to the sides. Now press the tank in place and it should stay there.
