Hey guys and gals, for those of you who haven't heard, this year River City Racing Club is taking a stand against breast cancer. Everyone knows when it comes to cancer, the expenses mount up quick. Not only does money raised help find cures but also provides the ability for some to seek testing and treatment in their fight against cancer.
Did you know:
1. Breast cancer knows no boundries-be it age, gender,socio-economic status, or geographical location
2. The most common risk factors for breast cancer are being female and growing older
3. One in eight womenin the U.S. will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime
4. Early detection and effective treatment for breast cancer have been shown to improve survival
5. There are about 3 million breast cancer survivors in the U.S. today
6. Breast cancer affects more than just the patient- co-survivors (friends, family, and co-workers) need support too
7. Making healthy lifestyle choices may reduce your risk of breast cancer.
I sincerely hope this doesn't affect anyone here but you never know, it could be one of ours at some point.
