Hello All
I thought I would post some photos of my ML Boatworks SX400 Build
This kit went together very well.
Nice engineering on ML Boatworks side of things....
I added my own parts and designs to finish the boat to my liking.
I have attached photos.
The part of my design I did first is the motor mount.
I designed it so I can drop in a 56mm motor or a 40mm motor by simply changing
out the Carbon Fiber secondary mounts.
I can use any bolt pattern or length motor....
I designed a stuffing tube mounting set up so as to make the penetration through the hull
easy and precise.... I designed a G-10 transom mounted hardware back up plate with drilling
template... The G-10 is .125 thick and all holes are tapped for the rudder & strut.
If you have any questions on any other parts just ask.
Also I built my first ESC using a 200 amp castle phoenix ice lite airplane controller.
I turned it into a boating model with water cooling.
I need to thank Mike for the pointers on how to do it right,
