I have a Mac 45 in a sport 40 with a Mac pipe running 60% fuel and a 452 prop.I need a starting length on the pipe.

Thanks

Dave you have seen our boats run. I'll give you measurement tonight. I would start at 10".

The CMB Nitro pipe is the best pipe for Sport 40 I have ever run. You need a muffler for it also.

No pipe to tight no muff to tuff.

Thanks for the info.

The CMB Nitro pipe is the original pipe that I designed for the MAC 45. 10" is too long for the MAC in a Sport hydro. We ran it at 9" on the stock MAC in a Phil Thomas. An easy running 64 mph set up with a cupped 1450.
