Hi everyone,

It's that time of year to start getting your Nitro, Gas and Fast Electric boats ready for the April 2nd & 3rd, Time Trials in Huntsville, Alabama.

We look forward to seeing you again this year.

Well DANG! I wish I had more time to prep and get out there! This would be fantastic. I have some unfinished business with the NAMBA record book!
 
IMPBA "OF" [old farts] HOF'rs ...Tommy Lee and David Hall set a new NAMBA 20 mod tunnel record of 70.2 MPH....

Now just waiting for the IMPBA record trials to start on Wednesday......

Martin Truex Jr. set a new NAMBA "X" hydro 2 lap record @ 16.1 seconds..... yesterday 4/2/2018

Truex Jr. assault on the NAMBA records update as of 9:50AM today 4/3/2018

A [.21] Hydro 2 lap 17.2 seconds

B [.45] hydro 2 lap 16.3 seconds

C [.67] hydro 2 lap 16.434 seconds

1/2 A [.12] hydro SAW 101+ MPH

Well the good lord blessed us yesterday with good water.

Here are the records that were set yesterday.

David Hall/ Tommy Lee. A Mod tunnel. 70.224 mph

David Hall 1/2A tunnel. 30.63 mph

Martin Truex Jr. 1/2A Hydro. 101.029

Martin Truex Jr. A Hydro. 2- lap 17.537

Martin Truex Jr B Hydro 2- Lap 16.327

Martin Truex Jr. C Hydro. 2-Lap. 16.434

Martin Truex Jr. X Hydro 2- Lap. 16.785

Roger leas G-2 Cat. 91.649 mph

Roger Leas G-1 Cat. 83.087. mph

70+ mph for a 20 O/B tunnel is strollin! The IMPBA record held by Kently Ported has been at 65.048 since 2007!

Thurs. looks good for you guys after the cold front goes through:

Yes. Martins X Hydro is 15.785.

Today Was basically a blow out. But we had three more records.

Randy Hicks set a 2-Lap and SAW record in gas twin. And Martin set the C Hydro record early this morning before the wind got really bad. Randy set his records in bad water. His 2-lap time is no where near what his boat has done in the past. Will post more tomorrow but the weather like Terry said is not looking favorably.
 
Awesome job guys Congrats ! Good to see NAMBA on this side as well , Hope to come back and see you again Mark in the near future.

Mark Grim took back the "E" record from MTJr. at 120.6 MPH..... The competition is heating up....

to be in Huntsville to witness the duel of the Titans....As I understand , perfect water and cool temperatures all day...

Not so fast fellas... we still own the IMPBA 3.5cc Outboard Tunnel Straight line record with a standard "OFF THE SHELF" Lynx round track boat.

It looks like we may need to build a custom boat to defend this record as the days of owning SAW records with round trackers may be coming to an end.
