I have read a few things in this forum about guys who know there stuff with repairs,modification of 21 engines (particularly Novarossi engines) I thought i would ask if any Intlwaters guy's could stear me towards the best people for the job? Thanks for the help!!
 
Thanks for the help peoples I have sent PMs!! Here is another question? Hope it doesn't get lost in the original title of the modification question? But what drive couplings are you guy's running? I tried to get a Aeromarine 3 piece Nitro coupling (3/16) but every time I go to there website it flags me as being a malicious website? I looked at Kintec then read on another site about problems there? I then thought Octura? And i couldn't find any in stock anywhere? As i only just got my first Novarossi marine engine?(it has the longer crank?) Could any people chip in with what to run? And where to buy? I like the Aeromarine type but I'm stumped about the warnings im getting trying to access the site?? Thanks for any help
 
The NR Marine web site has a selection of the collects by Octura with part #s for their engines, you can also find what you need from Tim Jones @ JE RC Products, John Otto @ Technology Models and Walt Barney. All the sources are listed here on the Sources Forum. All these guys will help you select the right products for what you need.

Thanks guy's Al Hobbs i will try and get in touch with! John Otto has been contacted 4 times with no reply! Walt Burney won't answer PMs after he got my paypal money for a prather 270ss prop for $40US including shipping? I will also try Bill Brandt thanks for your help once again!!☺

Thanks Chris If thats Al Hobbs ive had a pm from him and he put me on to an Australian guy who sells his couplings so hope i get a return message? He said I'd be better getting them from OZ than him for shipping! Thanks for all the help guy's! Once again Intlwaters has come through with the goods
 
Those Al Hobbs couplings are awesome!That Paul Stirton his Australian agent and Al are engineering geniuses! Brand new Novarossi BONITO marine! Stock standard Novarossi 21 flywheel and the best couplings ever made THE AL HOBBS ONES!! and they don't even fit!! Then i tell him the problem and he says "just sell them as there's people who will buy them!!" Whats the point of me buying them to sell the thing's! Whats this guy smoking?

Please take a look at the crankshaft photos the crankshaft. That is why the cable collets do not fit.

Brad,

Just cut the crankshaft off to fit the flywheel and collet threads.
