Hi all over the last 4 weeks set up the Dunlap 30'' tunnel with a Leopard 4082 1600 KV motor with a 5000 mah 40c 6s lipo . This set up is a real handfull on windy and choppy water conditions with gps readings in the 49-52 mph range. Tonight the water was perfectly flat with no wind i pinned the throttle and got a gps reading of 59.3 mph with a Octura X440/3 prop . Im considering going back to 4s power with a 3674 2000 KV motor. Thanks to Mic and all the others who helped me with setting up this tunnelhull. Regards Andris Golts.

I highly doubt anyone has made one of my tunnel designs go that fast. 6S is a lot of "juice."

We ran Leecraft XT-460s on 6S power. That 36" hull was faster than with a 7.5 mod engine. Brian Buaas raced Alfred Lanza and friends at one of the Grand Prix races with his. Everyone was impressed, but even that hull was really a little small for 6S.
