You need to read the rules set for selling on IW.

#1- There is a minimum 3 year I/W membership or 30 post requirement before any I/W member is allowed to post items for sale. We have always been all about promoting a brotherhood type atmosphere and unfortunately we have had instances of people taking advantage of that so now unless you have been an established I/W member for at least 3 years or you have accumulated 30 posts in other forums you will not be allowed to sell any items.

The post is ok as he has been a member since 2006 which is well past the 3 year mark HOWEVER a FULL NAME is required to be added to the signature line as per the rules.

What does the bottom of it look like??

Who built it?

Thanks for the help guys. The boat was built by a friend of mine that owned a hot rod and restoration shop. My dad (who has been building and racing boats forever) helped him with the details. The exterior is glassed and the interior is coated with epoxy. It was built about 8 years ago. It does of course have a couple minor flaws. There are a few small cracks and a little yellowing in the paint and could use another coat of epoxy inside. Nitro is hell on this stuff.

Does my asking price sound fair? Please let me know if I'm way off. Not really sure what a boat like this goes for these days. I do know that a ton of work went into it. I could possibly meet someone in the tri-cities this weekend to save on the shipping. I had hernia surgery Monday, but I'm hoping to make it to the race Saturday or Sunday.

Its a Dumas hull so not really the choice for a serious competitive racer in my mind. The OS 61, even new is not the current high powered winner and would bring with pipe around $200 but some people may pay more. Realistically, you have about $500-$600 here at best but thats just my opinion and others may vary. Just stating my thoughts, its worth what people will pay.
