thanks for the pic.....I don't look sexy any more but my wife still thinks I,m usefull ....

I use a john otto style mount. a piece of aluminum mounted on the lower unit to pto bolts that extends out and bends down and bolts to the pipe . very strong but a little tough to do pipe adjustments

Does not look all sexy, but very rigid.

I used to use only one but I found it flopped around too much putting too much strain on the coupler at the header.
Kris what pipe is that?
its a special

Its just an unmuffled SPP, dont think its any different to what you can get now. The muffler I made is 10X nicer sound, more like a cooper 20 pipe

I used an aluminum team associated pipe mount. You can get them on eBay for $5. I drilled a hole through the pipe and bolted it from the inside with a large washer to keep it from pulling through.

I use a 1/8" thick aluminum piece to hold the tuned pipe in place. It can swivel in two places at the same time which allows different length machined telfon couplers to be used for tuned pipe length adjustments. The machined teflon couplers are clamped tightly preventing any leakage as well as supporting the tuned pipe.
