A winter project I am itching to take for a spin.
Boat is (over)powered with an OS46.
Everything (except for the motor....duhhh) is homemade.

I may as well stick this one up too...since it is also waiting for its maiden voyage (since a rebuild after losing control and hitting a dock at WOT....did it ever sink fast!)

I made a frame (3 U shapes) out of 1/8 plywood, and covered it with thin balsa plank....then laid 2 layers of fiberglass cloth inside/outside...and started sanding. Once it looked about right, I slapped a little more fiberglass on it, sanded and painted. (after glueing the fiberglass/balsa vents on...)
It's surprisingly strong and light too.
Hopefully, I will be posting 'action' shots soon.
