I am new to this hobby and need a little help!

I have a .46 engine in a Dumas V-hull 40. I need to link 2 fuel tanks up to the engine, fuel filter, quik-fill and tune pipe.

What is the correct linkage configuration for this?

Thanks

fuel tanks should have 2 exit tubes. 1 pickup and 1 vent. run a tube from the tuned pipe (for pipe pressure) to the first tank's vent. run a tube from the same tank's pickup to the second tanks vent. from the second tanks pickup attach your fuel filter. from the filter go to the carb. I guess the quick fill would go between the tuned pipe and the first tank... but i never use them.

did that make sense?

I wouldn't use a quick-fill personally - it isn't needed. Just disconnect the tube from the carb and fill the tanks from there.

Tim.

I agree with not using a quick fill. I had one, but it caused nothing but trouble. I fill by disconnecting the fuel line at the carb. I disconnect the pressure line at the tuned pipe and watch for fuel coming out there. Then I back the pump 2 or 3 turns.
