hey guys its my first boat I have a motor pipe engine mounts strut and rudder. what else do I need?

I know I need the following at least.

1 fuel tank/bag size?

1servo but what size?

rx

radio box

props

shafts

anything I should have when I go to the lake?

IV bag, 500cc will do in most cases or 16-18 oz. Plastic tank.

I've been using Hi-tec HS 645 MG's for the rudder and and standard servo for the throttle Don't use a Futaba 3003, they're junk.

Flex cable, a 24" then cut to length.

A prop will depend on your motor, stock or modded.

As far as a radio box goes, I've been getting that and many other things on your list from www.zippkits.com .

Start yourself a toolbox for the boat. Whatever you use to assemble the boat with, toss it in that box. Start with a 5/16" wrench or socket, 9/16" and 5/8" wrenches, separate and not a combo wrench as you'll need both for the flex cable collet. A small screwdriver for the needles. A 10mm wrench (motor mount isolator nuts). A set of Allen wrenches especially a 3mm. Spare plugs.

buy some pool noodle and stuff inside of side rails

As said prior but for an inexpensive excellent prop I have run an Octura X670 just balanced and sharpened in Offshore and kicked serious butt!!!

Later!!

Just a few things.

You need one strong steering servo 200 oz. in. minimum is better and a decent throttle servo. Pushrods, ball links, pushrod seals and mounts, switch, receiver battery, Servo mounts, water outlets, bulkhead fittings, water line, fuel line, stuffing tube, stuffing tube sleeve, collet, bushing, 500ml gas bag, fuel fitting, fuel "T", fuel plug, antenna mount and tube, pipe mount, cowl locks.

Yes you will need a pump to fill the fuel bag.

Fresh new gas can is good idea. Nice to have an adapter that makes the can a fueling station with the fill nozzle and a fuel filter.
