Brian & Gilbert,

I have received the messages.

Just very busy these next two weeks with my day job at

Bellaire High School. Graduation is a big deal up here in

Northern Michigan.

Brian I have what you need in stock.

Gilbert I do not really carry the propellers that you are looking for?

21-Hydro Pilots,

I am heading out to the lake this morning to test four new ABC

21-Hydro propellers. Should be faster than I was last week in Saginaw.

A Mini Gold Cup tune up today at the lake you could say?

Thanks For Reading,

Mark Sholund

Thanks for the response, Mark, I'll look elsewhere. Probably would come back if I cannot find anything after two weeks.

Lookin for props for a 21 rigger and NR and 45 stock outboard on a leecraft

Rob,

What 21-Hydro? JAE-GT-21? What Nova Rossi motor DD-21?

What pipe and plugs are you going to use? And how much nitro % do you run?

On the 45-Leecraft are you running a K&B or a Nova Rossi?

Most likely a 1815 or H-7 with a Lynx-Cut.

Let Me Know Please?

Good morning Richard,

I remember taking one of the first ones out and testing it on everything anyone had at the Belle Isle pond (I think all boats had solid shafts) and it didn't do well on anything. They looked cool but hung on the wall a long time, so I took one and gold plated it, put it on a heavy gold chain, made a necklace out of it and sold it to a friend of mine that had a large cabin cruiser. We had similar luck with the V967 & V937. When Octura came out with these Tom P had gotten the numbers after visiting Mercury, Mercury was having success running them on the large full size racing outboards at the time. I'll have to spend some time thing about a current model boat application and let you know.

Thanks, John

Richard,

Most of the V-955/3 that I have made were for Straight Away applications.

I know about five racers that adjusted their 45-Hydros to run them in heat race trim.

They were fast once dialed into the set up. They have a substantial amount of

lift in them with the 1.9 pitch ratio and low rake angle. If I had one in stock I could

measure the amount rake in one, but I just checked and did not see any on the wall. I think

John had the right idea with the gold plating. We only ran them a little on 45-SAW

boats because the 2160's seemed to run Really Well once we found the right diameter

for our set ups. Mike Nowicki ran some in Flint over 100 mph years ago.

Thank You Both for the reply

This prop has been in my box for a long time and maybe I will get it plated

sounds like its not worth the effort to sharpen at least for anything I run

It looks pretty

. The v955 is still my heat race prop of choice on a sgx 45.
