Vac 45 crank gurus

These are both VAC 45 cranks. But the bottom crank weighs a ton compared to the top crank, and has weigh more meat on it.Which one is better?

The crank on the bottom came out of my VAC 45 and broke at the very end but it's salvageable. It's the 8 Port.

The crank on the top I got to replace it used.

That crank came out of a proto vac 45 that I had, that motor punched a hole in the case cause the piston broke . The crank in my new vac that I had balanced was a bit different. i used it till the new crank got back form the balance job. Bouche did the job on the balance.

I have both cranks, one from a Proto VAC and one from a 5 port, Scott balenced both of them for me and the proto engine is working well with the new 8 port PS .Both motors are 0ver 4 years old running on Od fuel and Turbo plugs with no broken parts.
