NR 46 or CMB 45 V5

Guys, I have a VAC, greatt motor, Has anyone compared the new NR45 and which is better. I read on another blog the NR is bit fastter at top end but much better on accelareation. Any opinions?

It depends in who's hands they're in...too many variables to compare.

I love my NR 46 and would not trade it for any!

Ken,

No mods needed, go get you a brand new 46DD, clean it up, set the head clearance to about .008", break it in properly., Take the time to find the right set up for your particular boat...and go racing!

If you don't mind me asking, what are you planning on putting it in?

I have several Sgx boats but I have seen some super roadrunner 40 that are ballistic. I have a set of rr sponsons so will make a cf tub buy some rear sponsons and drop in the new motor.
