Hi I have a CMB Goldhead 67 similar to the ones T_hedlund has in the IW photo gallery.
I know I've seen this on IW but I just can't find it again.
Seems like I remember Stu Barr stating the notch in the rod faces the bearing not the carb if I am correct. I also remember him stating the closed end of the wrist pin should be visible through the exhaust port.
If I am incorrect please correct me. I've seen them assembled both ways notch to carb and notch to bearing. Same on the Greenhead I think also.
