Boaters,

Just throwing this out there?

Has anyone ever made tuned pipes out of copper pipe before?

Instead of steel or aluminum?

Wondering if it work work as well or not?

Thinking Out Loud,

Phil,

Yes, copper metal that can be brazed and moulded pretty easy.

I used to make sheet metal fittings out of sheet copper all different

thicknesses and braze some pieces water tight. So I was thinking

of trying a copper tuned pipe? Was wondering if anyone had done

that at all? What gave me the idea was the twin engine straight

stack on the John Bridge engine.

Thanks For Reading Or Sharing Your Thoughts,

Think Phil was wondering what you were talking about because you spelled COPPER wrong...

You spelled it cooper....FYI Dustin.

Copper has problems with that kind of heat >

I had a customer brought in a Honda to have new exhaust ,

he was a plumber > he had an excellent job but the copper was annealing to the point it was crumbling ....

Dustin,

I hope things are going well out West for you?

I can't believe I spelled copper wrong.

I guess I was having a bad day with my spelling.

Usually spell check picks it up?

Thanks,

Mark Sholund
