I have a older Zippkits gas JAE Outrigger and am in search of a original cowl, or someone who can make one. My problem with the existing Cowl is that it still does not keep water from being ingested. The attached photo's show that it requires bubbled out enclosure approx 14 1/2" from the the cowls starting point at the front..

Any suggestions, or information as to who can supply an original or one that can be fabricated will be greatly appreciated.

Take a look at 1 from Andy Brown or 1 from Rico boats. Both good cowls, but you will have to make them fit.

It looks like the cowl is open on the bottom. I think that Zippkits is using a Brian Blazer cowl for the latest version which still needs a piece of wood to add onto the tub to keep the spray out. You might be able to fix this one that way.

I know it's not a Blazer cowl as the guy who used to make them made the one for my Gen I JAE gas 'rigger. I ran a RE RCMK in mine so the cowl I had was a back-halved T-boat cowl. I was just thinking that you could use the Backlash cowl but you still need to completely cover the bottom to keep the spray out.
