I created the Celina Summer Challenge XXV race on the site 1/15/16. I have had to go back to the site 5 times to republish the race. It keeps disappearing from the site. I have tried to email the [email protected], but it kept coming back as not accepted. I pm'd Bill on the 21st, and have not heard back. If anyone can let me know how to keep the race on the site please help.
 
Contact John Knight on here. He has worked with that software extensively and may be able to help you figure out whats happening. Just make sure you have the race dates right (start and end) as that usually determines the. "Length of stay". Good luck.

Check your dates in the title, make sure all your dates are current or close to your race day. All other races are still up so I'm guessing it has something to do with the dates you have entered.

Oops. Just saw Ron said the same thing

I just checked the dates, and they are correct. The dates are all in July 2016 except the accepting entries date which is January 8th. When I clicked save, the publish box was checked. And it is now back up again on the site. Don't know what else to try.
 
Has anybody else had trouble getting a reply from Bill for help. I have tried 3 different email addresses that I found, and sent a PM from this site. I have not had a reply. Our race is not listed on the site again, I had to republish it 4 times this last weekend. I am hoping that he will see this and try to help us out.

Below is the email that I received from Bill, it looks as though it was sent to Danny Weimer also. So I printed out my entries, then deleted the race that I was having problems with. I then recreated the race with a more specific reference name. Then I manually entered the entries that I already had. I did this on Monday night, and it's still on the site. Hopefully that corrected the problem.

It appears that the both of you recently created a race for your clubs and have named the template files the same. Both of you saved the template files a "2016" Although you may have been able to save the race template with this name. Both f you should have seen that such a vague name could cause issues. Typically once the template has been saved it can no longer be saved as a different name. To compound the issue, you both have already accepted entries. It is going to be considerably difficult to correct this issue.

In the future please be much more descriptive of the event in the template name.

Such as '2016_D3_summer_ challenge' etc...
