Guys:

I have wanted to do this for a while so here goes. I would like to catalog all of the US-1 winners from all classes as far back as we can go in a simple spread sheet. What I would like to receive is - US-1 Winners name, the year, the class, and Internats location. At this point I am only interested in just the overall winners not the SAW and oval components.. I would prefer that you send me an email [email protected] with US-1 in the title so that I can file them all in one spot . I think this would be interesting and I will post the accumulated results here for everyone to share and then check with Lynne and Juice to see if we can present them for publication on the IMPBA website . I appreciate any input that you all have, and in sharing the results. Thanks Tony J

I should have all of 2004 and 2005 let me get back to you................

I was disappointed to see the history of the Internats locations and Special awards winners not on the site anymore!

Hey Ron it is still on the site. Look at the history section. A lot of stuff was destroyed by Katrina in 2005 when the office moved from Louisiana to Alabama. It was all we could do to get The Hall Of Fame section completed. Spent many hours on the phone and looking through old stuff.

Thanks Chris I didn't realize it was in the rule book! It used to have its own link from the website.

Tony,

How far do you want to go back?? In 1983 I won 7.5 Outboard Hydro at Huntsville,Al. They didn't run ovals and straights for the class so we just went on the heat racing. Oh yeah that was done with a MRP Canard with K&B power with a Mulvany Custom Lower Unit.. Would have won 3.5 Outboard Hydro but picked up 8 feet of ski rope on the last heat.. The point spread for 3.5 was 69 points from first to third so that was exciting!!

Later!!

Pat

Thanks to Ron B for the 2004 Scoring sheets:
