I've been having issues getting my ops90 in a conquest to run It keeps leaning out and stalling .needle doesn't change it or pipe .today at the pond a guy showed up with a ops90 in a rigger. He looked over my boat and said the fuel tanks are to low and the motor will never pull the fuel up .I've added some pictures to show what i have .is he correct?

Hey Mike

You may want to check your pressure fitting coming from the pipe. You need a large hole in the fitting, to make pressure.

I don't think your tanks are to low. I run a slllivan flat tank with a 2oz hopper tank on top, but try your pressure fitting first

Good luck.

I'll just keep working with it till i find the happy spot .thank you .after he said that it just got me wondering if i was fighting myself

So does it do it at the same point in a run? Could be a crack in the fuel pick up if it is consisantly dieing about the same amount of run time.

The way you have your hopper tank mounted the fuel might be climbing up the tank away from the pick-up.You should order one tank from Rayan or Walt with internal hopper to eliminate having 3 tanks, they will make it to your specifications to fit in front of your motor. This will eliminate a lot of plumbing and possible problems. I don't think you can turn the spray bar but make sure the hole in it faces into the engine.

MichaelAfter looking at the photos, i believe U have a gravity problem, the lower the tank, tanks, are the harder it will be to pull the fuel into the spray bar. From the photos I would raise the feed tank, which I believe is the small tank, to a higher horizontal position with a height the same as the spray and find away to also raise the big tank to the same height. After U raise them I believe U will need to lean the mixture some because the gravity will not be restricting the fuel going to the carb.

Thank you I'll give that a try .i have room to put the hopper in front of the motor and raise the saddle tanks up .the boat has a bulkhead in front of the motor so i don't have room for the tanks .but the gravity problem makes sense to me

Michael have you tested the tanks. Isolate them and see if it runs on a hopper and only one tank and do you have the large pipe fitting and is it drilled in the right spot on the pipe. I'm thinking your Loosing preasuer somewhere like a line or tank seal or a bent brass line.

Checked over all the tanks .no problem found .tried running it again .still a major pig .drank some beers last night and put the motor in a 36 sprint cat i had laying around. Same prop same pipe and boom .it hauls the mail .the conquest empty wieghs 12 plus pounds

Please share pics of the fuel system in the sprint cat. I would still say there is a problem with the tanks in the conquest

The current set up is a 16 oz tank .im gonna run a 4oz in each gunnel.ill post some pics in the am been busy getting ready for a bike race this weekend
