So I have an RCats system and 2 old McDaniel glow starters. Unfortunately when I went to the pond everything was in my other start box. What I want is an igniter that can sit in my Gas start box for months waiting to be used. Anyone got a suggestion on a product that can sit there for a long time without draining down. Thanks Tony J

The last time I was in Eric's store he had about 8 of them. Back when I had time to run 2 to 3 times a week, I would only have to charge it twice in a year. Ryon

I also like one made by"dyna glow". It uses a "C" size 1 1/2 V alkaline battery. Lasts a long time and if it goes just unscrew the thing and put in a new battery.

Tony, if you already have an RCats, you don't need anything else. Unless the Li-on battery in it is bad, a charge in the spring will last you all season.

Just my 2 cents.

Hey Tony,

Here's the poor man's RCats. Lol I bought one just before Hobart and it works like a champ. It looks like it's backordered at Hobby King but there is other company's that sell them.

Just putting the final touches on one my bother is making and it goes right on the back of a Boris starter or any hand held starter with a battery.
