What would have been a perfect Sunday, turned bad :'(

Perfect water, no wind.

My brother and I had set up a nice circut.

Everything were ready, so were we..

We started my brothers .100 Sprintcat.

He took it out todo a few warm up laps.

In the meantime I stood talking to some old guy, who off-cause diden't like the noise from the boats.

A big THUG, followed by silence, broke the conversation.

My brother had hit a bolder in a pier at WOT

Immidiatly the cat sank. All we could see was a splash of gelcoat and fiber on the rock indicating the hit..

My brother dragged himself to the site :'(

A quick summery of broken itemes:

Rudder, strut and prop(a nice one) were all badly destroid.

The cat was a full 5" shorter, on both tips, indicating a perfect hit.....

The radio box came lose, destroing two servos and bending every linkage.

Offcause the radioox also took in water destroing the reciever..

What caused this?

It seems to be a faulty soldering/weld on the batterypack.

It kind of ruined ouer day..

well... i'm sorry to hear about your crash..... but the only way to make sure you boat never crashes is to never get it wet.... it's a risk you have to take :-

:'( O' what a tragity for sure, But as we all know sooner or latter @#$R% happens. In other words, Experience is what we get when we did not get what we wanted !

So keep that head held high, dont make that mistake again and keep on plugging ahead. Good luck ! Scott
