Park entrance fees have increased this year to C$15 per vehicle per day including one occupant and C$5 for each additional occupant.

They have offered us a discount through a token system, a straight C$15 per vehicle per day, no charge for extra occupants.

Tokens are C$15 each and are good for one vehicle per day, you will get them when you first arrive at the park.

To purchase please PayPal as a gift in Canadian funds (or EMT in Canada) your order to me at: [email protected]

Deadline is August 1st.

Of course if you are camping there are no additional park fees.

Hey Terry, I asked a question on your post above on Facebook that Randy answered for me. This seems like a great deal if you have a few people in the car.

Looking forward to this one! Hopefully we can get some of those D2 scale drivers to come on over!

Scale seems to be having a resurgence in D1, we had five boats last year.

If we have two heats this year we can run a consolation and final as per H4 of the Rule Book.

The restaurant is under new management, it's now called "Limani" and has a Greek flair. Food looks really good. We haven't talked about discount coupons yet but I'm sure they'll do something for us.

We are around the 150 boat mark already. 18 Thunderboats registered. Could use more Nitro entries to round out the classes. 5 boats to make a class. Come on D2 guys ... where are you?!?! [emoji4]

We have some very generous sponsors donating to make our raffle a huge success. If you get a chance please keep these fine folks in mind:

After the usual last minute shuffling we're sitting at 160 boats, a great turnout for this year's Can-Am.

If you are thinking about coming jump in, we guarantee a good time!

We can take your entry at rcracingevents.com or pond side up until 5pm on Friday...

Very proud of our Northern Lights MBC members, family and friends that worked tirelessly to run a first class event for our guests.

A special thank you to our scorekeepers Claire and Robin (who I forgot to mention at the trophy presentation). They worked non stop all weekend to keep track of the scores, create the heats for our shootout format, manage Can-Am & Oneida Cup scoring and post all the results as soon as each round was finished. We could not have run this format without them.

More to follow, I'm going to bed!
