Evening everyone,

I am finally getting back to racing some boats. I've said it before but all the stuff that kept getting in the way is finally out of the way. I'll be racing in November but would like to make probably four races next year. I've got boats ready for D and Sport B Tunnel and if Tower still has a couple OS 21's in stock I'll have a couple of B boats ready too. I've got a few others underway, still, and need to know which IMPBA classes they should race. One is a rigger of unknown design but it has a Nova Rossi 18 in it. I need a prop but will contact Sholund about that. I probably just spelled his name incorrectly. I've also got a JAE 21 under construction, it's some hardware away from being ready. The other two are an old Prather deep V and a Sprint Cat. I'll finish up and race them as well. What classes are these run in? As old as it is the Prather may not have a class. Sorry if this is repetitive but I'm doing well lately to remember my name. Thanks.

Mike

Mike,

You will not be able to run that A-Hydro with a 18 motor

in it. You will need to get a 12-Novarossi to run in A-Hydro.

What part of the country do you live? You spelled my last name correctly, thank you for your post. Here in District # 2

We have about six A-Hydros at most of our one day races.

Thanks,

Mark Sholund

Thanks Mark. I took another look and paid attention this time and it is a 12. As for the other boats they aren't riggers so I'll post elsewhere. Thanks. I'm in Georgia. I know there are some races there and I'd like to run in them.I'll be in touch for props. What would be correct for a .12 engine in a rigger?

Brad I'll do that. I need a Nova Rossi head unit to replace a K&B for a tunnel I'm prepping. Thanks. The prop I have for this 12 is an Octura V937 v/3. It can't be correct as it just thrashes the water and goes nowhere. It looks as if it should be a screamer. What is the correct 2 or 3 blade prop? Thanks.DSC_0361.JPG

Mike,

We usually start with a Octura 1440 with a lynx-cut in the trailing edge.

In ABC Propellers we run anywhere from a: 1415, 1417, 1419, 1514, 1515, or 1519.

Thanks,

Mark Sholund
