Any automobile. Main point - it's should be 2 component aryl clear coat.

One word of caution:
Not all clears are compatible with all color coats. Unless the color and clear are made by the same manufacturer or you know someone has used the products in question with good results, make a test piece and test before using on your boat

Klass Kote (epoxy paint) products, pretty much equivalent to K&B Superpoxy (epoxy) paint products:

Hey there sir, every one of these suggestions will make you happy. I went through this last year, and every one you hear from helped me. Great group of people. Epoxy is the fastest way to go. I went with a high build urethane primer with base and clear. PPG 2021 good stuff. Thanks guys.

I use rattle can Krylon and PPG clear its compatible and saves a lot of money on expensive paint, only downside is there is only a handfull of color choices.
