8 inches is where we run all of our 20 riggers for race trim.

Shorter pipe is not always a good thing. We have played that game in the past and really didn't get any better results.
The Beta runs great with the 21 nitro pipe like on my 45. It's going to be an impressive motor.

Bob has had Very Good results with a 7.5" pipe length on a CMB Nitro pipe.
7.75" is still a pretty good length for heat racing. Remember RPM is the name
of the game on the set ups. I agree your Beta-21 is one great motor. Propellers
should arrive tomorrow.

We found that the key to getting it to stage consistently on the pipe below 8" with the h7 prop was to pull out one of the coils on the plug.

I have to agree Nova 21 hybrid AA pipe at 7.5" Sholund 1445. This combo I have in a JAE and a KEPS and they scream.
