Which products work best for sealing out water on things like transom hardware or radio box exit holes? I know there are radio box seals/boots. But what about bolts, wires, brass tubing, etc... I'm looking for something that is resistant to nitro and oil. Let me know what you have found that works best

Thanks!

I know your seals reputation, they are the best and I use them. But I am asking about sealing hardware not pushrods. Thanks for making those seals!

Drill the hole a little oversize and epoxy in a piece of brass tubing, keeps the wood from crushing too.

This is what I do also.

I have found that a transom hole sealed with epoxy will not last very long before it starts absorbing water and oil. This is because the thread of the bolt will cut into the hole like a file. Like Terry said, sleeving the hole with a piece of brass tubing will keep the wood from crushing.
