It's been a good long run at Eagle Crest but it's sad to say this fall The Kohlmeyer will be the last race there. We knew the day was coming and got word earlier this week, please help us celebrate 20 years at Eagle Crest. We have already found a replacement and while it's not as nice yet someday it will be. We anticipate a large turnout so enter early and be sure to add your tee shirt size. Thanks to all the boaters who made this site a huge success

Mike and the rest of the River City Racing crew;

This is truly sad news. I have only been able to visit a few times, but have truly enjoyed my visits to your club site.

SUCH a nice pond and surrounding area.

No matter where you go, your great club will make it awesome.

Sorry to hear Ecity is gone. What a great Club and a great site. Always enjoyed racing there.

The new site is not definite yet. We are still working on it. No, no pictures of possible site yet.

Yes, that is the one we're working on Pete. We're going out to test there tomorrow. Right now, noise is still a concern of theirs but I really dont think it'll be a problem as far as the fields are away from the lake.

Thats a shame the Eagle Crest pond is going away. Cool place to race.

Sam, in the first meeting we had with them, we told them there is a max db level and if we move out there, it WILL be enforced

When we go to the nitro champs race in Brandon Fla the lake is right next to the soccer fields, kids playing there all day while we race boats. Seemed like driving cars on the fields was more concern than noise.

When we tested last Sunday Phil, they drove around the outskirts of the fields. There is a bridge and a road planned to get to the lake, just not sure when. Hopefully, we get out there, it'll be sooner rather than later. It is a pretty nice lake. Definitely be a little different racing there. Its 284ft across. There wont be a lane 25 out by the cracker barrel anymore lol
