I still have that magazine!, built a few wild things. took the original print and glued it to a piece of Masonite and made patterns for all the pieces. still have them. I saw the post that john finch did on the ml boatworks lazer cut kit they sell, looks nice. thanks john for giving us a great boat

Hello,

I'm looking for the plan for informations and also because the kit price, europe delivery and taxes are more or less 200 USD.

Regards.

Well, glad I priced out the shipping this morning for you, looks like you had already made up your mind, lol

Air age publishing is still advertising the plans for sale. $20.00 I believe. The ML kit is really nice if you can afford the shipping out of the States. I still have the original boat and replaced the nitro engine with an electric motor and set some electric oval records with it a few years back. Versatile boat.

looking at those Air age plans reminded me of when i used the get the rc boat modeler magazine. that's what actually got me into racing. i used to look forward to getting those. It was their coverage of a race in grant park NY that lead me to meet a fellow named Jack dittia here in ny and got me going racing in Namba D1.got to meet a lot of nice folks and made a few friends and raced quite a bit just from that publication.

There was also a .12 version. I bought one from Mike Zaborowski years ago, around 2003 that I still have but collecting dust. Two friends, Dave Homer and Wade Swatzell, both members here each have one. Mike had Phil Thomas lay up a few of them in epoxy-glas.
The first one is Mike's and mine with one of the various engines that I tried in it, here, a Fantom .12 but later and O.S. .12 with a Nova Rossi .21 carb adapted to it. I found out later that the trim tabs weren't needed.

Hi:
How can I get the plans of that ship?
Does anyone have them and can you email them to me?
We are interested in making an initiation category, with 3.5 cc glow motors and this seems to be a good option.
Of course, thank you all.-IMG_20180325_093218.jpg

I´ll start looking for a kit of this boat
If you decide to do that "step by step", I will surely follow it !!
Thanks.-
