Guys I need a small amount of reduced gloss clear for an exterior door Is there an additive that will knock off some of the shine frm my concept clear or do I just need to buy a quart ?

Thanks

I've seen people say adding cornstarch to gloss paint will flatten it. I'm not sure how much to add though.

Not sure about PPG Concept, but there are "flatteners" available for most automotive paints. I would check & see what PPG says.

I use the PPG Concept for years and i would not add any thing to it to flatten the shine.I would get with PPG and see what they say..I can call the company I buy my paint from and see what they say.

ppg has flattener for the clear it is rather pricey. medium gloss reduction will require about a 1:3 ratio (1 flattener 3 clear) I will get the code for it at work Thursday.

I called my dealer and they said not to use the DX685.Use the SU 4985 university matting agent. You can find the mixing for what finish you need at.Google PPG refinish su4985 hope this helps
