At the 95 Winter Nats a dude had 4- 21 K&B outboards on a cat boat. Ran it in offshore, the linkage alone was a site to see.

I have heard about that boat, anyone remember who's it was ?

Joe Monohan ran twin K&B 3.5cc engines with 707 throttle exhaust on a SunDowner years ago. I would think that having fair size rear sponsons would be a must for twin outboards on a rigger. Joe still has that boat and its probably ready to race knowing Joe.

That twin outboard FOUR SEAT hydroplane is the U-4 American Maid, owned by Mark and Mitch Evans. IIRC, it was a Leland hull that was bought by the Evans brothers and refitted just to take people on hydroplane rides on Lake Chelan, Washington
