So I want to build one of these boats again not for racing but for a all out fun fast boat now my question what other hulls have people done this in ?would this work in a jae ? I have only done this in one hull so just curious , I must say a 21 righer with a 45 in it is a sight to see scary fast

Today riggers are much bigger then the older gators crapshootets an huey designs .stuff a motor in one an have fun.

We have build two .45 in .21 of my own design. It is 780mm long and only 75mm in width. Sponsons are Keep 21. So we test and run this rigger in Europe with low nitro powered AA45 and Picco P45 red head. It goes only 119 km/h with stock ABC S-20. Also try with Octura 1860, but it was heavy.

Roman,

What do you mean the 1860 was heavy?

It should pull that with no problem at all.

I used to run OPS-45's in older roadrunners 21's and had no trouble

getting mid 80's with 1860's. I have also run Nova 28's in a variety of 21 boats

with 1650's and they are in the 80's also with shorter pipe lengths.

It was fun and fast,

Hi Mark. We ran about 20% nitro, and 1860 starts not easy. Also setups was not ok

The one that I ran was in a old eagle hull with a os .40 and at half throttle it was clocked at 59 mph on the radar gun and still had a lot to go

I would guess the boat would be very fast.... but being a smaller boat having to race in the bigger classes it would get way to free on the rougher water.

just my opinion.

Thomas you can put that 45 in a JAE .21 rigger, because it's all about having TOY FUN!!

A K&B .45 is not much bigger or heavy than a .21. I bet it would be a blast and with out the extra weight of most .45's it would be a good all around boat.

In a light boat it would pull some big props and not need to revvvv the crap out of it.

Use the drum intake to pull the big props.
