So I started to finish the 40 boat I picked up a few months ago.getting the radio box figured out.

They are from offshore electrics. They are designed for one servo but I modified them to what you see
 
I have found the micro Hitec servos (HS-85 and smaller) unreliable in 40 and larger nitro and gas boats because of vibration. I recommend using at least a 225 size. If you are going to use an 85 at least carry a couple spares. Maybe add four rubber grommets on the end of your aluminum rails.

Its hard to see in the picture but the servos are isolated with the rubber grommets. Thanks for the heads up. I have the 225's if they don't work out.
 
Ive run the 85s in everything from 45 to gas and very rarely lose them. Just be sure the end stops are set properly and no issues.
 
Got the transom and one side done and just got the second side glued tonight and should have it done tomorrow.
