It's too bad folks complained about some of us who were thinking outside the box when I built this boat.

I'm unsure if its grandfathered in or not. It sure was fun to drive and it was quick.

I was thinking the same thing Mike. The motors were two novas. And the few times I saw it the props looked like Marty Davis had a hand in doing them. I believe its outlawed now. Try stuffing a zinoah 26 in one of those hulls. haha.

Someone didnt think twin 20 was a good idea for sport 40 class so it was ruled out. It was a neat boat saw it run few times.

I seen you guys stuff a 26cc in the Supersport 45 hull too HA

Yes it was in Indy and it had the Nova long strokes in it. Funny thing is Marty is the one who complained bitched you name it to make it illegal then he bought it from me when I was in Indy.

The fastest I had the boat in race trim was 71mph it was a rocket

I assume the engines are laying down, would love to see an inside pic if you have one? Way KQQL

No the engines are standing up in the normal position. Each engine had its own tank and a third channel fuel mixture.

Everything in the build was 100% legal per IMPBA specs. Andy Brown was over the rules back when this was built and he went over it measured everything and made the decision based on the rules it could run in the sport 40 class.

It's a shame that Marty pulled his weight around and whined enough to have any twin sport 40 outlawed. Last I recall anything built before the rules got changed would be grandfathered in. I'm unsure if that's still the case or not. If so what he don't know until now is I have another twin hull just like that one built before the rules got changed.

Bobby Coleman in Indy still has this boat. And it was stupid to make this rule. What is fostering model boating if you outlaw all the outside the box ideas. There are far to many rules that a few have gotten pushed thru that serve no purpose.
