Northern Lights puts on a super race and always has great raffle prizes. It's a fun place to,go to.

Nails

Northern Lights member Tim Kish has come up with a great idea for a class, the "Twin Engine Hydro Challenge".

Bring your twins out and lets put on a show for the folks at Fifty Point!

Okay all you twin pilots out there, this is your chance to prove your tuning skills against others that are crazy enough to run these beasts.

This will be as much a battle of attrition as it is speed, do you have what it takes to keep your boat tuned for four possibly five heats?

If you think you are up to the challenge and want to put on a great show then the NLMBC Can-Am is where you need to be.

This will be an all out battle of Gas and Nitro, Cats and Riggers, who will come out on top?

Well to find out you need to be at Fifty point July 26/27, if you have what it takes it could be you.

Going nuts in a mad rush to be able to cross the border. Passports are expired (that's what happens when you have kids), Need a new copy of my Birth Certificate since the old one isn't embossed (application in the mail to Albany). Cant get an appointment to submit the passport paperwork for two weeks. That leaves the 4-6 weeks to get the passport paperwork processed... It's going to go down to the wire.. and folks are worried about the park fee...

Here we can pay a little extra and get our passports back in a couple days instead of weeks, might be an option, 4 weeks should do it tho I would think. Enhanced Driver's Licence is another way that might be easier for some folks.

Here's info on the documents required:

http://www.cbp.gov/travel/us-citizens/whti-program-background

Crossing the border isn't a big deal, just show them some respect, answer their questions and there's never a problem.

BTW there's 3 border crossings in the Niagara Falls area, the Buffalo/Ft. Erie Peace Bridge is the quickest:

Yes, the park fees add a little to the total cost, we've kept our entry fees low to help offset them. Where else can the family enjoy the beach, do a little fishing or enjoy a nice meal while dad is playing toy boat?

Of course if you camp at the park for $43/night the entrance fee is included.

Thanks for the info Terry. Will get the paperwork done in a timely manner. Planning on staying near the race site for the weekend and I already rented a house for a few days in Niagara Falls the following week. Didn't think a trailer would work with a hotel down town.
