I think everyone knows how to thin finishing resin. I've learned you can also thin 30 min. epoxy and use it like finishing resin. I've done it using a 2parts epoxy to 1 part denatured alcohol. Don't know if it will effect the strength of the epoxy but you can brush it out like finishing resin. It just sets up faster. I tried this on some parts because I was out of resin.

Ray the video is about using finishing resin. I didn't know if it was possible to thin regular epoxy (30 min.). It can be done.

Depends on the epoxy. Some labels say you can while others say you can't. That being said, some people have good luck doing so while others don't but, again, it may depend on the epoxy being used

I use Bob Smith Inds. products. Several house brands are Bob Smith. BSI also has cust. service that will answer question about products.
