Hi all i built the 1/8 scale cracker box from the Dunlap plans set the hull up for for electric power with a 600 size brushed motor and recently swaped it out for a Leopard 3650 3900 kv brushless on 2s i was looking at the plans the prop depth is set at 7/16'' measuring from bottom of hull to c/l of prop shaft with strut set parralell to hull bottom looking at my set-up prop is set at 1 1/16 '' from hull bottom to c/l of prop with about 3 degrees down thrust if i remember correctly this was to eliminate the x432 prop from cavitating. What prop depth and strut angle do's every one else have set-up on their crackerboxes ? Regards Andris Golts.

I would NOT run the prop off the transom. I would put it under the boat.

I did a bunch of testing and the prop should be about 15% under the boat from the transom forward and some offset is not a bad thing too.
