I dont understand why you need a 5/16 shaft necked down for your your 1/4 inch props.

Why cant you run a 5/16 cable into a ferrule and just use a straight 1/4 inch shaft? Thats what Im going to do.

Just make your stub shafts out of 17-4 PH stainless steel.

I found it in the trailer under a drawer and yes are welcome to it but you said you were gong to 1/4 inch shafts did you do that ?
