A/A Engines are now officially world championship engines. RC Minicrafts took first place overall in Germany last week running an A/A 45. Twenty countries sent teams to this event. Congratulations to them for their World Championship.

A/A 45 engines are sold without any price increases over the past 4 years, still MSRP of $410.00.

winner is here on IW : Roman Agafanow

the are hard fights and he is always full risk, very good to watch

There was no USA team there this year. So far only one USA team member has ever taken a first place, that was Andy Brown. There has been only one second place won by a USA team member.

It is very difficult to keep the sound level at 80 db or less, run in tight 8 boat heats, and run as fast as they do in Europe. Two days of qualification racing and then one day of Finals.

Plus the best drivers in the world are sponsored by certain manufacturers and distributors.

Congratulations to RC Minicrafts for their big win! And a big thank you to Al Hobbs for being the man behind the AA engines. I hope to have a couple of AA engines going into a couple of boats in the near future.

Al - sound level is not a big problem, i´m use for 3,5 rigger cooper s-pipe with selfmade muffler

You have to know the measurement rules and qualified personnel !!

Congratulations to Roman!!! ( and you Al)

Added difficulty this year were the very warm conditions of nearly 40 degrees. Many guys had troubles getting their engines run right, including some manufacturers teams, so it makes the winner special. Frank's webcam suffered from this heat and gave up after 3 day, still a good initiative Frank!

Great news on the AA 45 Championship in 7.5 cc hydro. Congratulations to our Russian friend Roman Agafanow.

P.S. Al Hobbs won a Silver metal in 15cc and Andy Brown won Gold metals in 3.5 cc and 7.5 cc in years past.

It is no easy task to make the podium at the NAVIGA World Champs. Congrats to all!

Does anybody know what kind of boat and propeller Roman was running? Thank you--Dan Mccormick namba 221
Roman works with the MiniCraft team of Russia. They have been working hard on their own designs with some aspects that they barrow from JAE and SGX.

They are a hard working group of young men who live where the Winters are long and cold and the Summers are short.
