Sport 40 hydro tips

Hi Guys just wondering what setups are out there for those running a Blazer FE Sport 40.

Got a kit on the way and would like to get as close as possible to the ideal setup for this boat.

Motor, esc, batteries and props.

I've used a Castle 1717 with X447 and X450 also a Neu 1527 1y with X455 and ABC 2116. Both with a Turnigy T180, 2 - 6s 3700 60c paralleled.

The biggest change since then was to completely seal the front part of the hull enclosing all the electronics, batteries, and motor in a sealed space.Kelly Gruol was the first to do this on a Mutt and it gives a lot more freedom to adjust the cg and place equipment. I'll take some pictures.

I finally got some pictures of the new Mutt sport 40 electric setup. It has two compartments, the aft box with the receiver and steering servo and the forward area with all the other electrical components. The areas on either side of the motoe are velcro covered for the battery attachment. I also included a couple of race pictures against nitro sport 40s taken by Jerry Dunlap.
