sweet, thanks Jerry. Cant wait to get this beast on the water! Next weekend this will be the motor that gets run. I hopefully will have my hull all straightened out by then, and be able to run it like I stole it!
also, am I safe to run 45% with this Jerry? I know alot of the TT guys run lower nitro, what do you recommend?
Marty, wont ahve it this weekend, but will next. I probably wont be running this weekend, as I dont have any fuel nor plugs, and my tower shipment wont be here in time. Anyhow, it will be out next weekend, on the TS2 if I get the damned hopping worked out.hay Rodney is that one of those boats that you stole from me or have you got some thing else up your sleeve by know did you run over the 4th.hope to be around this weekend to see this motor sweeeeeeet you dog
Marty
It's almost done, if you look closely at the header spring where it connects to that Gawd awfull
"ring" that holds that type of header on (Dynamite part#DYN6602) You will see that a little
more aluminum has to removed from the back side of the lower in that area so it will go up level.
This is one of the areas that (if anybody wants to modify them) has to have a "U" shaped
relieved (ground out) area to give clearance for the "cup" on the header. It will also have
to be relieved in the back side of the "PTO",,, I'll have pics ready for "aussieboater" concerning
the cut-out areas.
